To satisfy the (morbid) curiosity of anyone who may/may not read my blog, here’s a few tidbits about yours truly.
I. I’m twenty-four years old. I live in Connecticut with my beautiful wife and our personable beagle.
II. I’m a high school teacher at one of the oldest private schools in the United States. Although I am certified to teach Social Studies (history is my first academic love), because of the unique curriculum that the school offers, I mostly teach English Literature and General Science courses.
III. I have a Bachelor’s degree in both Criminal Justice and Philosophy, all while minoring in Business. My (first) graduate degree is in Secondary School Education with a specialization in Deaf Education and I’m currently researching what to go into for my second Master’s. Ok, Ok, if you MUST know, I’m leaning toward something in special education.
IV. I’m a basketball junkie and a die-hard Knicks fan. I know they’re not exactly doing fabulous this year but there’s always hope… even if I’ll have to wait another four, five years for them to finally have some salary cap space.
V. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife- I always feel we never spend enough time together but granted, I try to make every minute count.
VI. Free time tidbit #2: Another thing I enjoy doing is reading. I try to read at least two or three books a month… last year was the first time in about six years that I was able to finish reading twenty-five books in a year (college got in the way, yannow?) so I’d like to keep this pace up.
VII. More to come soon as the weblog continues to develop…
